Please read these guidelines carefully before you attend your first class.
Parents work with their own baby.
When practicing with your baby, never rush or force anything. If you feel stressed or tense, just take a break and come back to the practice later. Always ensure that you feel safe, secure and confident with the way you are holding or working with your baby. Never do anything that you do not feel comfortable with.
If your baby is unwell, it is best not to attend the massage class. If your baby is crying excessively and cannot be comforted, he/she may be ill. Never practice on a distressed baby, or if your baby is limp, pale, has a temperature, or any difficulties breathing. Please seek appropriate medical help.
It is not recommended to practice within 24 hours of your baby’s immunisations.
I take full responsibility for myself, and my baby, and for everything that happens to me, and my baby in relation to the Baby Massage class.
If I have any doubts, I will seek the advice of my medical professional before proceeding with Baby Massage classes.
I will keep the Baby Massage Teacher informed of any health issues that arise over the course of the classes, both for me, and my baby.
I understand that during classes photos or video recordings are not permitted. Photos at the end of the class of just your child are permitted but prior permission must be obtained from the teacher and the photo must not include others in the class without their consent.
Health and Safety: Safety of all Little Mess members is paramount. Your child(ren) remain your responsibility while at Little Mess sessions, events and parties and must be supervised throughout (if you leave the room for any reason, please take your child with you).
Please make your Little Mess Leader aware of any food allergies or food intolerances prior to the session. E.g. Lactose, dairy or wheat intolerance.
We politely ask that members do not attend if their child is suffering from a contagious illness. Whilst we endeavor to clear all spillages as soon as they have occurred, some of the materials can cause the play area to become slippy so please, NO running.
All materials are made in the knowledge that they are to be played with under a parent / carer’s supervision. We advise that members bring jelly shoes to wear. We appreciate your help in trying to avoid unnecessary / intentional pouring of materials outside of their immediate play areas so that everyone enjoys the experience.
Little Mess accepts no liability or responsibility for any belongings including clothes that are stained, marked or damaged. Please note that the paint may stain. The materials used in Little Mess sessions are all sourced from trusted suppliers / high street retailers / well known supermarkets and are provided in the knowledge that parents and carers supervise their children while they play with them. Whilst all the materials we use are non-toxic, we’d rather the children refrained from eating them.
Due to hire charges, preparation and material costs, payment is non-refundable. Please sign in to the event upon arrival. Please notify your session leader as soon as possible if you aren’t able to attend a session that you have booked on to. Little Mess reserves the right to cancel sessions without refund in circumstances beyond our control (i.e. adverse weather conditions, closure of venue, staff illness). Although we will endeavor to run catch up sessions. If Little Mess is unable to offer a catch up session then refunds will be given. If you have any further queries, please contact your Little Mess Leader.
Photo Consent; Little Mess Leaders may take photographs or video clips at sessions. This footage may be used on the website, Facebook pages and marketing materials. If you do not wish to have your child’s photograph taken, please inform your leader when you sign in at the session.
Should you wish to cancel your place on a course, you may do so by contacting us up to 7 days prior to the start of the course, for a full refund to be given or transfer to an available course. After this time no refund will be issued.
I understand that refunds are not possible for missed classes.
“I love the baby massage course. We are only two weeks in and my little boy has already taken really well to it all. The venue is ideal and always made warm and welcoming. It’s also a good opportunity to meet new mums and talk about your own experiences.”
“We have had the best time on the course! Very calming and relaxing environment, we now use the techniques in our everyday routine! 100% Recommend as a must do course!”
“I took my son Arlo on this course with hope of finding some help with trapped wind, colic, and constipation as I was sick of referring to medication for my baby. After the first session – in fact, during the first session, I started to notice a difference. He has been on the up since completing the course, as I am now fully knowledgeable of the different techniques to use. Well worth the time and money for such a great reward!”
“Amazing class…Great way to spend time with my newest addition, meet new mums in a really friendly, relaxing atmosphere.”
